The Director, Lean Clinical Development will be responsible for driving Strategy and Strategic Alignment within and across Global Development (GD) in order to lead the Effective Planning, Implementation, and Change Management for complex, key prioritized projects. They will craft and develop the strategy for a Continuous Improvement Culture and will work to develop a Value Stream approach using Lean strategies and concepts, translate this roadmap into tactical plan, and measure the business benefit.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Science or a related field is required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
A minimum 12 years of experience working in a Pharmaceutical matrix organization is required
A minimum of 5 years leading lean process improvement projects is required
Black Belt in Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Design Excellence) is required
Shown ability to lead without direct line responsibility is required
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills is required
Excellent presentation skills and analytical skills is required
Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with experience in leading and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
Previous experience working in or supporting Clinical Operations in strongly preferred
Experience using tools such as MS Teams, Visio, SharePoint, MS Office, etc. is preferred
· This position will be located commutable to one of the following sites, with some remote flexibility available: Chesterbrook, PA; Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Leiden, Netherlands and may require up to 20% domestic & international
