Job Purpose: End-To-End Customer BUIT Project Management for EU CSI and EU MNC Customers. Implement Project Management plans and processes to successfully deliver projects while meeting the cost, timescale, and quality parameters in line with overall business objectives and needs, Group guidelines. Job location: anywhere in Europe.

- Make selection decisions for BUIT solutions for the internal Product Teams as well as external EU CSI and MNC customers.

- Very good understanding of 3PL and 4PL Logistics.
- Extensive knowledge of, and compliance with DPDHL BUIT Governance process.
- Ability to consistently manage very demanding (and difficult) internal and external customers.
- Exceptional negotiation skills for managing external CSI and MNC customer expectations.
- Use of the DEPICT project management lifecycle methodology.
- Technical aptitude, including but not limited to Data Communication protocols, EDI configurations, Data Field gapping, and mapping.
- Role requires the ability to provide Leadership to the EU BUIT Customer Integration Management (CIM) Team.
- Role requires the proven ability to permanently fix BUIT issues for internal as well as external customers.
- Role requires the ability to benchmark 3rd party BUIT Service Providers.
- Implement project management plans and processes for successful execution of projects.
- Develop project plans to deliver projects to achieve required quality standard, on time and on budget.
- Instruct, direct, and review the output of functional project team or individual Project Managers.
- Identify and highlight deviations on project expenditure to adhere to defined project budget.
- Track project milestones, monitor/report progress and performance against the project plan.
- Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays in the delivery of projects.
- Implement project risk mitigation action plans to minimize project risks.
- Support implementation of project results to create targeted impact.
- Analyze business processes, identify opportunities/solutions, and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
- Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders.
- Define project resources, conduct performance reviews, and post-implementation evaluations.
- Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/new team members, providing direction and guidance as needed.
- Eliminate gaps, issues, risks, and overlaps between as?'is and to?'be Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Customs processes regarding BUIT solutions.
- Responsible for solutioning, costing, and responding to customer RFI/RFQs for BUIT questions and possible solutions.
- Escalation point for customers and Sales personnel regarding alleged BUIT (EDI) issues.
- Escalation point for EU CIM Team members struggling with CIM Project issues.
- Troubleshooting and permanently fixing BUIT issues for customers.
- Consultancy with EU Sales personnel and their EU CSI and EU MNC customers, for meeting BUIT customer needs.
- Own and successfully deliver Customer BUIT projects in terms of on?'time project delivery, within project budget, and of mandated DPDHL BUIT Quality (First attempt UAT approval ratio).
- Proactive consultation of Customer BUIT Solution Portfolio, using feedback from Product Teams and external customers to meet ongoing changes/demands.
- Convince other subject matter experts to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- May cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g., external service providers.
- Build strong, trusting cross?'functional relationships with DPDHL Managers.
- Understand customer and key stakeholders' interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers, and key stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance to line Managers and employees.
- EU Product Head and respective direct reports for all internal as well as customer?'facing projects.
- EU IMPAT (Customer Implementation) Team and EU BPO (Business Process Optimization) Head for collaboration during all processes, decisions, and projects.
- EU Sales personnel and external customer stakeholder management during customer?'facing projects.
- Individual contributor.
- Responsible for EU CIM Team's successful resolution of customer?'facing project obstacles.
- Responsible for managing Product Team's business requirements through to solution delivery.
Education Level:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Professional Project Management Certification.
Experience Level:
- More than 6 years' experience within BUIT.
