Internal Sales & Commercial Coordinator

£30,000 – £37,500 + Bonus + Benefits
A well-established specialist engineering business is looking to appoint a commercially focused individual to join its sales office team.
The company operates within a niche technical sector and works internationally with distributors and industry partners. The role supports the growth of a defined product range and involves coordinating sales activity, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the smooth flow of orders from enquiry through to delivery.
This is not a design engineering role. Instead, it would suit someone who enjoys working in a technical environment, is naturally curious about how products work, and can quickly learn new information.
The Role
- Managing quotations, pricing and sales orders
- Supporting and developing distributor relationships (UK and international)
- Coordinating purchasing and stock with overseas suppliers
- Liaising internally with production and procurement teams
- Proactively identifying and contacting potential distributors and partners
- Maintaining CRM records, forecasts and reporting
- Supporting product information and basic sales materials
The role is predominantly office-based (around 98%) with occasional trade show attendance or partner visits.
The Person
- Background in internal sales, sales support, account management, customer service or commercial administration
- Enjoys working in a technical or engineering environment
- Able to quickly learn product information and communicate it confidently
- Bright, organised and commercially minded
- Calm and professional communicator with good listening skills
- Looking for a long-term, stable opportunity within a close-knit team
- Full UK driving licence
