Job Title: Recruitment Administrator

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (36.25hrs per week), early finishes on Fridays, hybrid working.
Role Details:
- This role is responsible for supporting recruitment activities and providing business administration support to the Defence Business Unit Director.
- The position ensures recruitment processes are efficiently managed, documentation is accurate and professional, and senior leadership is effectively supported in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment System Management: Upload and manage job vacancies on internal systems and job boards. Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy records within the CRM or ATS system.
- Job Description & Advert Writing: Assist in writing, editing, and formatting job descriptions to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
- CV Formatting & Candidate Documentation: Format and prepare CVs for client submission, ensuring professional presentation and accuracy.
- Reporting & Data Management: Produce recruitment and business activity reports as required. Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets and tracking documents to support performance monitoring.
- Director Support: Provide administrative support to the Business Unit Director for Defence, including diary management, booking meetings, preparing documentation, and handling ad hoc business requirements.
- Meeting Coordination: Organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas when required, and ensure relevant materials are distributed in advance.
- General Business Administration: Support wider team administrative activities to ensure the smooth operation of the Defence Business Unit.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in recruitment administration, business administration, or a similar support role. Experience working within a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Due to the nature of this role, you must be a sole British national since birth and be able to obtain Security Clearance.
- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce professional documentation.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling documentation, reports, and candidate information.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using recruitment systems or CRM platforms.
- Professionalism & Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and support senior leadership effectively.
