The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join a growing electrical assembly team. You’ll be working on the assembly, wiring, testing, and integration of complex electrical control panels and systems for advanced industrial and engineering applications.
About the Role
You’ll assemble and test electrical components, subassemblies, and control systems to high quality levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble electrical subassemblies and control panels from drawings, schematics, or verbal instructions.
* Wire and terminate control and power circuits, harnesses, and looms.
* Carry out fault-finding, testing, and verification of systems.
* Support system integration, ensuring projects are completed to specification and schedule.
* Complete all documentation accurately, including build records and timesheets.
* Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and follow company HSE guidelines.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Experience in low and high voltage panel wiring and system assembly.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
* Good understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
* Experience building or integrating complex panels.
* Familiarity with control/data systems and fibre optic termination.
* Experience with production processes and equipment.
Qualifications
* ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred.
