The Role
As a Secondary Teacher working with Tradewind Recruitment, you'll deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and make a positive impact on their learning. You'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Barnsley and Wakefield while benefiting from the flexibility and career support that Tradewind offers.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed.
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and promote positive learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders.
Contribute positively to the wider school community.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you'll have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within UK secondary schools (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A flexible, professional and enthusiastic approach.
A genuine passion for education and helping young people reach their full potential.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
The right to work in the UK.
