The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
The role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern:
* Week 1: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00
* Week 2: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00
* Saturday: Overtime available, paid at time and a half
This provides consistent weekday work with the opportunity to increase your earnings through Saturday overtime.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a well-established builders’ merchants in Ossett, with the opportunity to become permanent after successfully completing 12 weeks.
You will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers and sites, safely operating the vehicle-mounted crane and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Minimum 6 months' Class 2 HIAB experience
* Valid Tacho card
* Valid Driver CPC card
* Good understanding of safe loading, unloading and delivery procedures
* Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
A HIAB refresher will be provided when you start to ensure you are familiar with the equipment and company procedures.
