The Opportunity
We are seeking a Planner to join a growing and collaborative Planning team in the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional looking to develop their career while working on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and development proposals.
- Provide planning advice to clients across a variety of sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
- Support business development activities and help identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to project delivery, ensuring high-quality technical outputs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.
About You
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
- Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer environment.
- Strong technical planning knowledge and report-writing skills.
- Good understanding of the South West planning market and policy environment.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, commercially aware, and keen to develop professionally.
