Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to provide strong financial leadership and take ownership of the entire finance function. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts, consolidated reports, and financial statements
- Delivering accurate project-level profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and margin reporting
- Managing annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Overseeing project cost tracking, revenue recognition, and forecasting
- Partnering with project teams to review financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
- Supporting tender processes through pricing models and financial risk assessments
- Acting as company secretary and compliance officer
- Maintaining strong internal controls across all finance processes
- Managing statutory audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
- Monitoring and managing project-level cash flow and working capital
- Leading, developing, and mentoring the finance function
- Building collaborative relationships across all departments
Key Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a project-based or contract-based business
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end project accounting and financial control
- Experience leading finance teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with relevant standards
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to work under pressure
