Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity this Easter? A well-regarded secondary school in Cookham is seeking a committed Science specialist to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

With well-resourced laboratories and a collaborative science department, this role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire curiosity and a love of scientific enquiry in students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, depending on specialism

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND and EAL

Prepare students for GCSE Science examinations

Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback

Contribute to departmental planning and the wider science curriculum

Promote a safe, practical, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages investigation and critical thinking

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools

Be passionate about science education and student development

Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Be committed to professional development and collaborative working
