We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Electronics Production Operative to join our growing team in Solihull. This role involves assembling and testing access control and fire alarm system products, ensuring all items meet high-quality standards.
You will play a key role in supporting production targets while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble access control and fire alarm system products
Work from manufacturing orders, line cards, and samples
Refurbish decommissioned equipment
Perform hand soldering tasks
Use manual and electrical hand tools
Test finished products to ensure functionality
Carry out quality inspections in line with company standards
Report faults and issues to the Team Leader or Manager
Meet daily and weekly production KPIs
Maintain good housekeeping and manage tools effectively
Skills & Qualifications
Basic experience in manual soldering
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing (preferred)
Basic electrical knowledge
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
