The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bartender in the UK, with a good understanding of professional bar operations, customer service, drink preparation, and health and safety standards.
Candidates who have completed relevant bartending or hospitality training will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
* Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other drinks to a high standard.
* Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
* Provide friendly and professional customer service.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented bar area.
* Restock beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
* Follow company procedures for cash handling and stock control.
* Follow health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
* Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
* Assist with opening and closing the bar.
* Work effectively with the wider hospitality team.
* Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Essential Requirements
* Previous professional Bartending experience in the UK.
* Good knowledge of UK hospitality and bar service standards.
* Experience working in a busy bar, restaurant, hotel, pub, or hospitality environment.
* Strong knowledge of beverages, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Training & Qualifications
* Relevant Bartending, Mixology, or Hospitality training is required/preferred.
* Cocktail-making or beverage-service training is an advantage.
* Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training is an advantage.
* Any relevant UK hospitality certifications will be considered a plus.
