Payroll Implementation Consultant
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver payroll consulting projects, including end-to-end payroll reviews, process improvements and recommendations
* Support payroll transformation and technology implementation projects
* Provide payroll compliance and controls support across UK and international environments
* Assist with RFPs, vendor selection, pre-sales and bid development
* Work closely with clients and internal project teams to deliver high-quality solutions
* Support stakeholder engagement, workshops and client presentations
* Contribute to payroll best practice, thought leadership and process improvement
Ideal Candidate
* Strong end-to-end UK payroll experience, ideally with exposure to the full annual payroll cycle
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, NI, pensions, statutory payments, IR35 and GDPR
* Confident using Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, SUMIF and COUNTIF
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
* Comfortable working with payroll technology such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or Dayforce
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ideally, experience with payroll implementation, transformation, consulting or payroll vendors
* International payroll experience would be advantageous
