The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stores Manager to join the engineering team of a leading international passenger transport operator.
This is a key role within a busy workshop, responsible for ensuring the efficient management of vehicle parts, stock control and workshop stores to keep a modern fleet operating safely and reliably.
As Stores Manager, you will
Manage vehicle parts and consumables for a busy PSV workshop.
Control stock across multiple workshop locations.
Order parts, PPE and engineering supplies.
Liaise with suppliers and manage contractor relationships.
Process parts accurately and allocate them to workshop jobs.
Monitor warranty claims and associated paperwork.
Support the Head of Fleet Engineering and Workshop Management Team.
Produce reports and maintain accurate stock records.
Help ensure KPI and service level targets are achieved.
What you’ll need as Stores Manager
Previous experience in a stores or parts role within the bus, coach, HGV, PSV or commercial vehicle industry.
Excellent stock control and organisational skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced workshop.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
Experience working with fleet or engineering management systems is desirable.
