Are you an experienced Quarry professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? BCS connect are working with a client in the Gloucester area who are seeking a driven and hands-on Quarry Manager to oversee operations at their Quarry site in Gloucester.

You will be responsible for managing staff, equipment, and resources while maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency. 🚜⚙️

👇 Key Responsibilities:

🦺 Lead and manage all day-to-day quarry operations
📈 Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement
👷‍♂️ Manage, motivate, and develop site teams
⚙️ Oversee plant performance and maintenance schedules
📋 Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations
🚛 Coordinate logistics, contractors, and operational activities
📊 Monitor site KPIs, budgets, and production targets
🔍 Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments

👇 What We’re Looking For:

✅ Previous quarry experience is ESSENTIAL
✅ Proven experience in a Quarry Manager or senior supervisory role
✅ Strong leadership and people management skills
✅ Excellent knowledge of quarry operations and heavy plant
✅ Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance
✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✅ Relevant industry qualifications are advantageous
