As an Engineering Lecturer, you'll teach Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic engineering units across Level 2 to Level 6 programmes, supporting both full-time learners and apprentices. You'll deliver engaging, hands-on lessons, mentor students throughout their learning journey, and help them develop the practical and theoretical skills needed for successful engineering careers.

The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience within Engineering and a passion for developing others. You should hold an HND or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline and have current industry knowledge. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and teaching qualifications can be provided. You'll be an excellent communicator who can motivate learners of varying abilities and confidently support students both inside and outside the classroom.

The role:

· Teach Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Engineering across Level 2 to Level 6 qualifications.
· Deliver engaging lessons to both apprentices and full-time learners.
· Support, motivate, and mentor students throughout their studies.
· Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
· Work within modern engineering workshops and laboratories.
· Full teacher training and development provided.

The person:
· Experience within the Engineering industry.
· HND or Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
· Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronic knowledge.
· Passion for supporting and developing learners.
· Teaching or assessing experience desirable but not essential.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
