About the Role
SMT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a German-Speaking Parts Sales Advisor to join a successful and growing business based in Brentwood, Essex. The company specialises in selling car parts to customers across a range of markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional, particularly someone with a background in the automotive or motor industry, who is looking to develop their career within a busy, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face.
Make outbound calls and generate new business through proactive sales activity.
Process orders, reservations, estimates, invoices and payments.
Provide excellent after-sales support and resolve customer queries.
Assist with stock and parts availability checks.
Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure a smooth service.
Identify opportunities to increase sales and promote relevant products.
Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and commercial targets.
About You
We are looking for someone who is fluent in German, with a strong sales and customer service focus.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience within the motor/automotive industry and sales, OR strong previous sales experience with a genuine interest in developing within the automotive sector.
Confident telephone and communication skills.
Experience making outbound sales calls and building customer relationships.
A professional, friendly and proactive approach.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A commercially minded and entrepreneurial attitude.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A full, valid UK driving licence.
Willingness to attend occasional events or business trips when required.
What’s on Offer?
£28,571.40 – £35,802 salary, depending on experience.
