Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated secondary Maths teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Potters Bar area, starting this September.
This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Mathematics and committed to creating an engaging, challenging, and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to helping every student achieve their full potential while contributing positively to the wider school community.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Maths lessons, monitoring and assessing student progress, and maintaining strong communication with parents and carers. The role also offers opportunities to become involved in extra-curricular activities and school initiatives, helping to enrich the educational experience for all students.

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across the secondary curriculum
Track and report on students’ progress
Liaise with parents/carers to provide updates on student development
Contribution to extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs
Cooperation with colleagues in order to deliver the best possible outcomes
Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
Secondary classroom experience
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Passion for the development of learning
Excellent classroom management skills
Inclusive ethics
Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
