The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering contractor who act as Main Contractor delivering specialist Basement, RC Structure, Demolition and Cut & Carve projects in Central London.
With their recent projects awarded they are now hiring experience Site Engineers to work for them on a long term basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Carry out setting out works and prepare accurate as-built surveys and records.
Coordinate demolition, structural alterations, temporary works, and enabling works.
Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and construction methods.
Supervise subcontractors and coordinate activities with the client, consultants, and project team.
Carry out site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements.
Identify and resolve technical issues, raising RFIs where necessary.
Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
Assist with planning, sequencing, and the successful delivery of the project.For the right person the first contract will offer 12+ months work in London starting at short notice.
