The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Parts Sales Executive will be responsible for selling genuine parts for the Volkswagen Group at the JCT600 TPS (Trades Parts Specialist) in Chesterfield / Barnsley. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to generate new sales opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships. The Parts Sales Executive will play a vital role in ensuring the continued success of our parts sales operation.
Your day to day will include:
Provide advice and recommendations to trade and retail customers on genuine Volkswagen Group parts
Respond promptly to customer inquiries over the phone, and via email
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise repeat sales opportunities
Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue sales leads
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing accurate, timely, and professional service
What we are looking for:
Essential:
Proven experience in sales or retail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer orders simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in using computer systems
A full, clean UK driving licence is preferable
Desirable:
Knowledge of Volkswagen Group parts and vehicles
Experience working within a dealership or parts supply environment
