First People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Site Engineers to join a growing civil engineering and construction team delivering a range of civil infrastructure projects across the Central Belt.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with at least 2 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a well-established and forward-thinking contractor.
More experienced or senior-level candidates will also be considered.
The role will involve supporting the successful delivery of projects on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out and surveying works on site
Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
Supporting site management with day-to-day project delivery
Maintaining accurate site records and QA documentation
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team
Promoting health & safety standards across site activities
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a setting out / site engineering role
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Experience using setting out equipment such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon
Competent in surveying and setting out on live construction sites
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence

£35000.00 - £50000.00 per year
