The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
The postholder will provide senior strategic leadership for the ongoing development, implementation, and management of the Trust’s Risk Strategy Framework. Operating as the organisation’s principal specialist in risk management, the post holder will ensure that the Trust’s risk infrastructure, processes, and reporting mechanisms meet the highest standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance. This includes exercising authoritative oversight of the Corporate Risk Register, the Board Assurance Framework, and all associated governance mechanisms to ensure risks are accurately identified, escalated, mitigated, and communicated with clarity at Executive and Board level.
Working collaboratively with senior managers, clinical leaders, corporate functions, and external stakeholders, the post holder will drive forward a proactive, learning orientated approach to risk management across the Trust. They will champion modern, evidencebased methodologies, develop robust systems and tools, and lead horizon scanning activity to ensure the Trust is responsive to emerging risks, regulatory changes, and sector best practice. The Head of Risk Management will lead the development and delivery of Trust wide risk education, enabling consistent understanding and capability at all levels.
A fundamental aspect of this role is to build and embed a positive risk culture throughout the organisation. The post holder will work to ensure that accountability for risk is clearly owned by operational leaders and embedded within directorate governance frameworks, shifting perceptions of risk management from a departmental process to a collective organisational responsibility. This will require exceptional communication, influence, and leadership to secure.
