The OpportunityWe are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established and growing business based in Grays, Essex. The RoleAs an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, roadworthy, and fully compliant with all legal and DVSA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
Complete vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards.
Ensure all documentation and job records are completed accurately.
Manage your daily workload independently and efficiently.What We're Looking For
Time-served HGV Mechanic or Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repair.
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Full, clean driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).What's On Offer
£21 per hour.
Monday to Friday day shifts only.
