Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Heathrow / Membury
Salary: £27.15 per hour
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy and expanding operation supporting a mixed commercial fleet across key logistics sites and major event operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join a company involved in supporting high-profile events and venues including the O2 and major UK festivals, offering a varied workload, strong earning potential and long-term career stability.
Working Hours• Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:30pm
• 42.5-hour working week
• 1 in 2 / 1 in 4 weekend rota on 24/7 callout (rota frequency dependent on staffing levels)
• Callouts are based around active job locations and local areas — no excessive travel distances

The RoleAs a Mobile HGV Technician, you will travel between sites carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a varied fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
This Mobile HGV Technician role will involve working on:
• DAF, MAN and Mercedes vehicles
• HGVs
• LGVs
• LCVs
• Trailers
Responsibilities include:
• Routine servicing and maintenance
• Mechanical and electrical repairs
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts when required
• Supporting operations across Heathrow and Membury sites
Requirements• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
• Previous experience working as a Mobile HGV Technician or on HGV/commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
