Are you a Humanities teacher who brings history to life, makes geography relevant, and sparks big classroom debates?
We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield who are looking for a passionate Humanities specialist to join them from Easter through to the end of the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach engaged GCSE classes and make a real difference at a crucial point in the academic year.
You’ll be stepping into a supportive department with clear schemes of work in place, allowing you to focus on what you do best, inspiring young people and driving strong outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Humanities at KS4
• Can confidently deliver engaging GCSE lessons
• Builds positive, purposeful classroom environments
• Is available from Easter until the end of the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
