Shifts: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday
Hours: 09:00am start
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour PAYE
Location: Carlisle, CA6 4RD
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
* Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parcels
* Drivers may be required to do door to door (50-100) or lockers (100+)
* Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
* Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.
* Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
* Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
* Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver shipments
Requirements:
* A valid UK driver's license.
* Multi- drop experience (preferable).
* Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
