You'll be joining a talented and passionate kitchen brigade within a beautiful Cumbrian setting, working alongside an experienced senior team and helping deliver consistently high-quality dining experiences. This is an excellent role for a Sous Chef looking to develop their skills and progress their career within a prestigious hospitality environment.
What's involved?
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Leading and motivating the brigade during service
Preparing and delivering dishes to an exceptional standard
Assisting with the development and execution of seasonal menus
Training, mentoring and supporting junior members of the brigade
Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety
Managing stock control and minimising waste
Ensuring consistency and excellence throughout every service
Supporting the kitchen team in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation

We're looking for a Sous Chef who has:
Experience working within a high-end hotel, restaurant or quality-driven kitchen
A genuine passion for exceptional food and seasonal produce
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure
A positive attitude with a desire to continue learning and developing
Ambition to progress within a prestigious luxury kitchen
The ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining high standards
