Solihull College & University Centre is seeking an outstanding leader to join us as Head of Campus Life at our Stratford-upon-Avon College Campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, visible and student-centred professional to shape a thriving campus culture where every learner feels safe, supported and inspired to succeed. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, you will play a key role in creating an inclusive, aspirational and high-performing environment that promotes excellent behaviour, strong attendance, positive wellbeing and a genuine sense of belonging.
You will provide high-impact leadership across the student experience, ensuring the campus environment is welcoming, well-presented and conducive to learning. You will lead on behaviour, conduct and culture, working proactively with students, curriculum teams and support services to maintain high standards and deliver a consistently exceptional learner experience.
You will also work closely with colleagues across safeguarding, wellbeing, enrichment, estates and quality to strengthen campus life, respond to learner voice and drive initiatives that improve engagement, attendance and personal development.
We are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with experience of working with young people in an FE, youth or community setting. You will bring a strong background in behaviour management, learner engagement and cross-functional working, alongside excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
You will be highly organised, resilient and solution-focused, with a visible leadership presence and a passion for creating environments where learners can thrive. Experience of team leadership, safeguarding practice and working with external agencies will be important, as will a clear commitment to inclusion, belonging and student success.
