The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our client is a healthcare technology and diagnostics company developing. They're looking for an Engineering Technician to join their engineering team on a 6-month contract, supporting internal development programs and helping resolve reliability issues, trial design improvements, and run tests and experiments alongside scientists and engineers.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong mechanical/electrical assembly background and a genuine interest in scientific instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Executing repairs and modifications to equipment and simple mechanical presses
* Analysis of defective equipment
* Product and component testing, including reliability testing
* Developing protocols to commission simple production equipment, including equipment qualification
* Promoting cGMP compliance within a pilot production facility
* Maintaining a set of working instruments for day-to-day use
What We're Looking For
* Graduate in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or BTEC/equivalent in an engineering discipline
* Experience working with mechanical assembly equipment
* Experience with electrical products and a basic understanding of electronics
* Soldering experience, particularly SMD rework
* Fault-finding and repair experience on production equipment or scientific instruments
* Experience in product testing and failure analysis
* Competent practical skills running and maintaining diverse mechanical test equipment
* Scientific instrumentation experience preferred
* Strong record-keeping skills
* Self-motivated, able to work unaided
* Fully computer literate
