ROTATING SHIFT 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm
Due to on-going growth, our client, a large manufacturing business are looking to recruit a number of well versed production operatives to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
To ensure quality products are produced in the required quantity, on time, in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company.
Demonstrate a positive attitude to training and personal development.
Monitor the performance of the process ensuring maximum output is achieved at all times.
Work as a team to ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines are achieved.
* Winding of Braid Material
* Braiding of PTFE Tube and/or other materials
* Reeling up Hose and or other material
* Adhere to correct procedures at all times
* Ensure that all documentation is correct and completed on time
* Ensure the correct Quality controls and measurements are adhered to
* Adhere to safe working practices at all times
* To perform the necessary safety checks to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the department and to operate in a manner conversant with the training given
* Ensure adherence to 5S in the department
* Transfer to other areas of the department/company as and when requested. All other related aspects of the department.
To be successful in this role, the right production operative will need to be:
* Safety minded
* Computer literacy is desirable
* Must be a team player
* Ability to work to high quality standards
* Ability to work well as part of team and communicate with other workers
* Ability and willingness to perform manual work
* Basic knowledge of computers
* Raise H&S concerns when applicable or when required on rota.
* Participate in Self Directed Teams meetings
* Experience within a manufacturing role
The successful production operative will be employed permanent from Day 1 and you will be employed by the company.
The shift is.....
6am - 2pm ( £13.45 per hour )
2pm - 10pm ( £13.45 + 20% shift allowance = £16.14 )
