Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities
As the Mechanical Project Manager you will be reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the mechanical package, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
* Manage all mechanical subcontractors on site.
* Coordinate mechanical works with the main contractor and design team.
* Produce and monitor short-term programmes and look-ahead schedules.
* Attend and lead progress, coordination and client meetings.
* Oversee procurement and material deliveries.
* Ensure all health & safety procedures are adhered to.
* Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging through to completion.
* Coordinate commissioning, witnessing and final handover.
* Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager delivering commercial Cat A/Cat B fit out projects.
* Strong background managing subcontractor packages.
* Excellent knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing and ventilation systems.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
