The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Our agency is recruiting a skilled Maintenance Plumber to support a public sector organisation in Leeds. This role involves undertaking plumbing repairs, planned maintenance, compliance checks, and installation work across a diverse property estate. It requires a reliable, experienced individual who can work independently and contribute effectively to a multi?trade maintenance team.
Role Responsibilities
Diagnose faults on plumbing systems and carry out appropriate repairs.
Install and maintain water, waste, and drainage systems using approved materials.
Install sanitary ware, domestic appliances, and specialist fixtures where required.
Clear blockages in waste and drainage systems.
Carry out statutory plumbing tasks such as Legionella checks and water pressurisation testing.
Assist with minor building?fabric tasks such as basic glazing or fitting roof flashings when required.
Work safely at height using ladders, platforms, and access equipment.
Undertake both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the estate.
Collaborate with other maintenance trades as part of an integrated estates service.
Candidate Requirements
Recognised plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) with a completed apprenticeship.
Demonstrable plumbing maintenance experience within larger or multi building environments.
Ability to assess repairs independently and determine the correct course of action.
Strong understanding of plumbing safety, compliance procedures, and good working practices.
Full driving licence desirable.
Flexible approach with willingness to support on?call arrangements if required.
