Hydraulics Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulics Fitter on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical professional with experience in hydraulic systems, assembly, maintenance, and repair to join a growing organisation offering long-term stability and career progression.

The successful candidate will play a key role in assembling, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic components and systems across a range of industrial equipment and machinery.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assemble, install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
Diagnose hydraulic faults and carry out effective repairs and troubleshooting.
Build hydraulic hoses, cylinders, pumps, valves, and power units.
Carry out pressure testing and performance testing of hydraulic equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Support site installations and occasional field-based service work when required.
