How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Structural Revit Technician
    Leeds

An established and highly regarded Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based on the outskirts of Leeds is looking to welcome a Senior Structural Revit Technician into its growing team. The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a wide range of development sectors and is involved in projects across the UK and internationally. Working closely with developers, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams, the consultancy supports schemes from early site appraisal and feasibility through to construction completion.

With over four decades of experience within the built environment, the business has developed an excellent reputation for delivering intelligent, practical design solutions that balance technical excellence with programme and budget requirements. Their work spans a variety of sectors including commercial property, warehousing and industrial developments, retail and leisure schemes, residential projects and infrastructure, alongside refurbishment work on existing and historic buildings.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are now seeking an experienced Structural Revit Technician to support the delivery of structural design projects within their Leeds office. This role will see you working closely with Engineers and the wider design team to produce high-quality structural models and technical drawing packages across a variety of building structures projects.

    Key Responsibilities
    * Producing structural models and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
    * Supporting Engineers in the development of structural designs from concept through to construction
    * Preparing detailed production information and coordinated drawing packages for construction
    * Working within BIM processes and ensuring models are produced in accordance with company standards
    * Coordinating structural models with architectural and multidisciplinary design teams
    * Attending design meetings where required and supporting the communication of technical information
    * Managing workloads across multiple projects to meet programme deadlines
    * Applying best practice modelling and drafting standards across all projects
    * Supporting and mentoring junior technicians where required

You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in structural modelling and drawing production within a consultancy environment, with excellent working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. A solid understanding of BIM processes and digital design coordination would be advantageous, alongside experience delivering building structures projects through to construction stage.

The wider engineering team works extensively with modern design technologies including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla TEDDS and other industry-standard digital engineering tools, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest technical standards.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a design team, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality technical information. The consultancy offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where technicians are encouraged to develop their skills and progress their careers.

In return, the company offers a competitive salary and benefits package alongside a friendly and collaborative working culture. As an employee-owned business, staff benefit from share ownership in the company, a tax-free bonus scheme and private healthcare. Additional benefits include a 5% employer pension contribution, free on-site parking and the option to sell back unused annual leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Technician looking to join a well-established Consultancy where people are genuinely valued and where there are clear opportunities for long-term career progression.
