About the role and school

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team from November 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to take full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class until the end of the academic year. The successful KS2 Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations and create a positive learning environment where pupils can achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum for a Year 5 class
Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour, learning and classroom expectations
Assess pupil progress effectively and adapt teaching to meet a range of individual needs
Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupils to achieve their potential
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders to promote pupil progress and wellbeing
Communicate effectively with parents and carers and contribute positively to the wider school communityQualifications/Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
Experience as a KS2 Class Teacher or in a similar role
Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
