The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils throughout the school day. You will assist with classroom activities, provide individual and small-group support and help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
Support pupils individually and in small groups
Assist with reading, writing and numeracy activities
Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Be patient, caring, reliable and enthusiastic
Work effectively as part of a wider school team
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, although strong experience will also be considered
