Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing and Logistics Manager to oversee procurement activities and optimise supply chain operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining efficient logistics processes. Responsibilities

* Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules accordingly.
* Oversee the utilisation of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement, inventory management, and logistics tracking.
* Monitor supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
* Organise logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery of goods.
* Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels within ERP platforms.
* Lead a team of procurement and logistics staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements in supply chain management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
* Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS is essential.
* In-depth understanding of supply chain processes including procurement, inventory control, transportation, and warehousing.
* Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish beneficial vendor agreements.
* Organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
* Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
* Strong leadership qualities with experience managing teams.
* Relevant qualifications in supply chain management or logistics are preferred but not essential.
