The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded family-run construction and facilities management business based in Basildon, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their close-knit and supportive team.
This role would suit a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in estimating, cost planning, and delivering projects within facilities management or construction.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of a range of construction and FM activities, combining project delivery with operational support. You will ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard while maintaining strong client relationships.
Project Manager Key Responsibilities
* Manage the fabric team and oversee day-to-day operations
* Deliver construction and FM projects from inception to completion
* Prepare estimates, cost plans, and quotations (£2k–£200k)
* Manage works via the helpdesk system and track progress
* Lead client/internal meetings and present project updates
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Ensure health & safety compliance, including RAMS
* Maintain documentation, reporting, and project trackers
* Carry out estimating tasks and supplier enquiries
* Interpret technical drawings and manage onsite activities
About You
* Experience as a Project Manager within construction or FM
* Strong estimating, pricing, and cost control experience
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Good knowledge of fit-out/fabric works and H&S
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
