Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Dartford to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisations for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

Experience: Experience is preferred, however we will consider newly passed drivers.Roles & Responsibilities:
Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
Completing 2 delivery runs
Loading own vehicle (hand-balling)
Multi-drop Deliveries
Working in a 1 person or 2 person crew
Delivering to Customer Homes
Heavy lifting (flat pack items)
Climbing Flights of stairs where lifts are not available.
Vehicle checks and the usual paperworkAs you are delivering to customer homes, deliveries are room of choice, meaning furniture can be required anywhere within the customer's property — including upstairs, downstairs, back gardens etc.
As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.
About you:
You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
You must also be comfortable with manual handling and working as part of a delivery crew.
