With several Trainee Machine Operator positions available, you’ll work a consistent four day week on day or night shifts, enjoying three days off every week. The site is based in Blandford and is easily commutable from Dorchester, Sturminster Newton, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Gillingham, Wimborne and surrounding areas.

As a Trainee Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Setting up and running production machinery after full training
Loading and unloading components into machines
Monitoring machines during operation and reporting any basic issues
Completing simple visual and measurement checks to ensure quality
Following work instructions and production targets
Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe at all times
As a Trainee Machine Operator, your experience will include:
Practical, hands on experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, construction, automotive or similar environment
Confidence using hand or power tools, either from work, college or hobbies
A willingness to learn machine operation and follow step by step instructions
Good reliability, attention to detail and a positive attitude to work
The ability to commute to Blandford from Dorchester or nearby towns for Monday to Thursday shifts
