Mobile Mechanical Engineer
Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Van & Benefits
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for a mobile role covering London and the Home Counties
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team, working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and building services equipment. Working across multiple sites, you will carry out fault finding, repairs and maintenance while ensuring all works are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
* Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
* Working on pumps, valves, pipework and heating systems
* Maintenance of AHUs and FCUs
* Basic maintenance of boilers and associated plant
* Working on hot and cold water systems
* Plant room maintenance
* Small mechanical repairs and remedial works
* Completing accurate job sheets and maintenance reports
* Identifying additional works and remedial requirements
* Liaising professionally with clients and site teams
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Mechanical or Building Services Engineer
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience within commercial building services or facilities management
* Experience working on a range of mechanical plant
* Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
