Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager with a strong joinery background to join a growing and dynamic business. This role will involve managing multiple small-to-medium sized projects simultaneously, typically ranging from £10k to £100k, across a variety of sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has progressed from a hands-on joinery background into project management and is confident overseeing projects from initial pricing through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects concurrently from inception through to completion
* Oversee works ranging from £10k – £100k in value
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors across various trades
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
* Assist with pricing, estimating, and tender submissions
* Produce and review project costings and variations
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
* Resolve any issues or delays efficiently to keep projects on track
Requirements
* Background in joinery (essential)
* Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating trades
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Experience in pricing, estimating, and tendering
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
