What you'll be doing;
With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
* Driving to planned collections locations and loading waste into a walking floor trailer
* Ensure the vehicle is safely and properly loaded, operated and driven at all times while collecting, transporting or tipping waste.
* Undertake daily pre-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the transport office
* Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times
* Ensure all scheduled work is completed and compliant
What are we looking for?
* Cat C+E (Class 1) licence and previous driving experience
* Driver CP/ DIGI card
Desirable:
* Local geographical knowledge, including experience of driving in the area
* Experience in transport of waste and use of walking floor trailers
