The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our client is an international, leading manufacturer within the food production sector, currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer and team lead to join their growing engineering team at a highly automated production facility.
Description
Lead and motivate the engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programmes to enhance equipment reliability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all engineering activities.
Coordinate with production teams to address technical challenges and optimise processes.
Manage budgets and resources to achieve engineering objectives effectively.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Prepare and present reports on engineering performance and project progress.Electrical experience required:
Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent)
Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (food industry desirable)
Strong fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, and control systems
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
Flexible to work shifts, including weekends where requiredJob Offer
Competitive salary range from £50,000 to £56,000 per annum.
Shifts Mon to Fri: 8am - 4pm
