This is a really interesting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, Data and Projects, with plenty of exposure to stakeholders across the business. The role would suit someone with experience in project environments, business analysis, audit, finance transformation or data analysis who enjoys getting into the detail and figuring out how things should work.
What you will be doing
Supporting finance projects from requirements gathering through to testing and implementation
Working with stakeholders to understand processes, requirements and potential improvements
Gathering, analysing and validating data to support project activity and decision-making
Reviewing documentation, processes and requirements, identifying gaps or inconsistencies
Developing and carrying out test scenarios to make sure processes and solutions work as expected
Recording findings, issues and actions and working with relevant stakeholders to resolve them
Supporting project meetings, reporting, documentation and wider project activity
Helping to bridge the gap between Finance, Data and Project teams
What we're looking for:
Finance transformation, change or project environments
Business analysis or project analysis
Internal audit, controls or risk
Finance systems or process improvement
Data analysis with strong stakeholder exposure
A finance background with experience of projects, systems or change
More importantly, you'll need to be someone who is analytical, inquisitive and comfortable working with different stakeholders. You'll enjoy getting into the detail, asking questions, challenging how things are currently done and making sure the end result works for the people using it.
