The Role:
* Supporting teaching and learning across Year 5 and Year 6 during morning sessions
* Planning, preparing, and delivering targeted intervention work to support pupil progress
* Providing occasional class cover where required across Upper Key Stage 2 as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* Working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective support sessions
* Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting pupils of all abilities and learning needs to achieve their potential
* Working collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents to support positive outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a minimum Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status or have relevant experience within a similar role (ECTs ideal)
* Have experience working within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 and Year 6
* Be confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
* Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
* Be flexible and confident providing Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) class cover when required
