This role is to join a national, modern multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, providing a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities
* Carry out fee earning work designing schemes.
* The formation of sound engineering designs, providing cost effective solutions.
* Attending meetings with clients, contractors and other professionals.
* Draw up detailed specifications and drawings.
* Project manage site works from commencement to completion.
* Develop energy strategies to adopt appropriate sustainable and low carbon mechanical design systems.
* Complete site visits, surveys, and witness system commissioning.
* Work as part of a team
* Carry out tasks to progress your knowledge and experience.
Essential skills and Experience
* Degree/master’s degree in mechanical engineering or building services.
* Familiar with relevant legislation, codes of practice, CIBSE guides, building regulations and best practice and environmentally sensitive.
* Chartered Engineer status or an aspiration to become chartered

£45000.00 - £55000.00 per year
