The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join an innovative electronics design and manufacturing business.
This is a hands-on role, designing complex hardware solutions for major OEM customers across sectors including Automotive, Defence & Aerospace, Medical, Communications, Clean Energy and Space.
The successful candidate will take ownership of designs from concept through to production, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer
Design electronic hardware from concept through to production
Circuit design, component selection, simulation and analysis
Work with PCB layout engineers and review layouts
Board bring-up, testing, measurement and fault finding
Support EMC, validation, compliance and qualification
Produce technical specifications, reports and test documentation
Participate in design reviews and customer meetings
Identify technical risks and manage project timescales
Provide technical support and mentoring to other engineersSkills & Experience Required for an Senior Electronics Design Engineer
Strong commercial experience in electronics hardware design
Proven experience taking designs from concept through to production
Mixed analogue and digital design with microcontrollers
Schematic capture experience, ideally Altium
Confident working in a laboratory environment
Experience with PCB layout and design constraints
Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical writing skills
Experience with FMEA, validation and approvals
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
