We are working with a Marketing Agency seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract. You will manage a portfolio of client accounts, providing strategic advice, leading campaigns and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
This role would suit an experienced account management professional with strong social media knowledge, excellent client relationship skills and a commercially minded approach.

What You Will Be Doing
•Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the senior day-to-day contact and trusted strategic partner
•Build strong, long-term client relationships and provide proactive strategic advice
•Develop account, social media and campaign strategies aligned with client marketing and commercial objectives
•Lead client meetings, presentations, strategy sessions and performance reviews
•Translate client objectives into clear briefs, campaigns, content plans and measurable KPIs
•Oversee campaigns and projects from brief through to delivery, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
•Work closely with creative, content, production, influencer, paid media and social media teams to ensure effective delivery
•Quality-control strategies, creative work, content, reports and presentations before client delivery
•Monitor campaign performance and use data and insights to make recommendations and optimise activity
•Manage account budgets, scope, timelines and resources, identifying and addressing issues proactively
•Identify opportunities to add value, grow existing accounts and introduce additional services where appropriate
•Contribute to proposals, pitches and new business opportunities
•Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to internal teams while supporting a positive and collaborative working environment
What We Are Looking For
•At least 5 years' relevant account management experience within an agency environment would be desirable
•Strong experience in social media marketing
•Good understanding of wider marketing and how social media supports brand and commercial objectives
•Experience developing strategies and translating them into practical campaigns and deliverables
•Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities
•Experience managing budgets, scope, timelines and resources
•Strong commercial awareness and understanding of account profitability
•Confident interpreting performance data and using insights to inform decisions
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Confident presenting to clients and leading meetings and pitches
•Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
•Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership
•Ability to build strong relationships and communicate confidently and professionally
•A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with specialist teams
•Genuine interest in social media, marketing, consumer behaviour and current trends
