How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Sector: Construction – Residential & Commercial

    The Opportunity

An established and highly respected construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team.

With a strong and sustained order book across multiple sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing business with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects and a stable pipeline of work.

The successful candidate will oversee 1–2 projects at any one time, working across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial developments.

We're particularly interested in speaking with experienced Project Managers who have a strong construction background, as well as high-calibre Site Managers who are ready to take the next step into a Project Manager role.

    The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, taking ownership of the project and providing strong leadership throughout the build.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    *

Managing the delivery of 1–2 construction projects.

    *

Taking overall responsibility for programme, budget, quality and health & safety

    *

Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

    *

    Managing client and stakeholder relationships

    *

Monitoring project progress and ensuring key milestones are achieved

    *

Managing commercial performance alongside the commercial team

    *

Reviewing programmes, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions

    *

Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and in line with contractual requirements

    *

    Attending and leading project meetings

    *

Maintaining strong communication between site, commercial and management teams

    *

Ensuring all relevant health, safety and environmental standards are maintained

    About You

We are looking for someone with a strong construction background who understands what it takes to successfully deliver projects on site.

You may already be an established Project Manager, or you could be an experienced Site Manager looking to make the move into Project Management.

    We're looking for:

    *

Strong experience within the construction industry

    *

A proven track record of delivering construction projects

    *

Experience working within residential, commercial or related construction sectors

    *

Strong knowledge of construction processes and site delivery

    *

Good understanding of programmes, budgets and project management

    *

    Excellent communication and organisational skills

    *

The ability to lead teams and build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors

    *

A proactive and commercially aware approach

    *

A genuine desire to progress and take ownership of projects

    Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, long-standing construction business with a strong order book and projects across multiple sectors.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects, with the autonomy and responsibility to manage your own schemes while being supported by an experienced wider team.

For an experienced Site Manager, this could also represent an excellent opportunity to step into a Project Manager position and develop your career with a stable and growing business
